18/12/04: The Geology of Indonesia is Online Now!
The Geology of Indonesia is now available on the web. This web version of publication on Indonesian Geologi is taken from a book titled "An Outline of the Geology of Indonesia", published by the Association of Indonesian Geologists (IAGI) a couple years ago.

01/03/04: The 20th Issue of Berita Sedimentologi: Call For Papers
FOSI invites IAGI members and interested geoscientist to submit articles or papers for the upcoming Berita Sedimentologi #20 bulletin which will issue a topic about "Structural Control on Sediment Distribution".

Please submit your papers/articles before end of May 2004. If you have any queries, articles or papers, feel free to contact Ferry Hakim (ferry dot hakim at eniindonesia dot co dot id), M. 01/03/04: Berita Sedimentologi is No More a Newsletter
The Berita Sedimentologi, which is normally subtitled as a Sedimentology Newsletter, has been changed into the Journal of Indonesian Sedimentary Geology. The change is a result of long discussion among the committes in order to attract more authors to submit their papers. It is also made to avoid further misunderstanding about whether or not the Berita Sedimentologi is a journal. (min)

01/02/04: FOSI Appointed A New General Secretary
Hasan Sidi, the recent General Secretary of FOSI, has been transferred to Fugro-Jason Australia and therefore the position he left was vacant. In order to ensure FOSI's organizational activity can be run smoothly, a new General Secretary has been appointed. Deddy Sebayang, a geologist with ENI Indonesia has committed himself for taking up the responsibilty.

Along with appointing a new General Secretray, changes were also made for several positions. To find out more, please read in the Committe section of this page.

The Berita Sedimentologi also has a new editor, Agnes M. Sebayang, who replaced Mohammad Syaiful. (min)
